1. What is the first track you ever bought?

Michael Jackson – Leave Me Alone
What the fuck is this video? Vibes are great but still creeps me out. Needs an update. Possibly by LOL Boys

2. What is the last track you bought?

Jamie Lidell – Little Bit Of Feel Good (Mr Oizo Remix)
An old one. Found a white label with nothing but a WARP stamp and ‘Little Bit Of Feel Good Mixes’ written on. I took a punt that the Oizo mix was on it and it was. Its one of those tracks that keep influencing and its got loads of party memories so it was a proud find.

3. Name a track that changed your life.

ZZT – Lower State Of Consciousness
This is the benchmark for everything I ever want to achieve.

4. What is your favourite track to open a set with?

MMM – Nous Sommes
This track is gift to start a set with. It will take from most vibes and build into anything I wanna do. Everything i’m doing at the moment is influenced entirely from Errorsmith and Soundhack. So it puts me in the perfect mind set every time.

5. What is your favourite track to close a set with?

iO – You/Me (Ado Remix)
If its gone well and Im feeling sentimental its Trentemollers remix of ‘What Else Is There’ but if not, what happens in this track at 3:48 will make all bad things go away.

6. Name a track you currently can’t stop listening to.

CTRLS – Socket
Addicted.

7. Name a track you wish you’d written.

Boddika & Joy O – Mercy (Boddika VIP)
Was one of those ‘For Fuck Sake’ moments when I first heard this.

8. What is your biggest guilty pleasure (musically, obviously)?

Nicki Minaj – Stupid Hoe
Possibly the most hated track around, but when you think about it. The vocals are fucking dumb, like most dance music. The kick is HUGE, and everything else isn’t a million miles away from most other shit i’m into. The video is obviously derived from Kanye ripping Garpar Noe off. So its like it was specifically designed to be my guilty pleasure. I also really want that barbie necklace.

9. Name a track you currently use to rescue a dancefloor.

Alter Ego – Chicken Shag
If the vibes are death Its good to start to make people smile first. Smiling people dance better and I’m yet to see this track not make people smile. Anyone who used to vibe off bugged out goes ape shit. And its always a good bonding experience to pick them out.

10. 2012 is upon us. What record do you take to your underground bunker?

Laurie Anderson – O Superman
I cant even describe my state of mind after a session with this track. If the world was ending, this would be the only track that would make me OK with it.
